History of YOHEI OHNO
Mr. Yohei Ohno is the designer of YOHEI OHNO.
He studied the basics of pattern cutting and sewing at Bunka Fashion College and studied at Nottingham Trent
University in England for a year and a half as a side prize for a contest he won while in school.
After returning to Japan, he launched his own brand “YOHEI OHNO” in 2014.
He made his debut in the 2015 Fall-Winter collection and presented a runway-style show at the Tokyo Collections in
2017 Fall-Winter.
In the same year, he won the “Tokyo Fashion Award”.
He won the 2018-19 International Woolmark Prize for Asia.
