History of TAE ASHIDA
In 1988, he joined Jun Asida as a designer.
In 1991, he debuted his first collection under the brand name “Miss Asida.”
In 1993, she designed the cup competition uniforms for Yokohama F. Marinos.
She later designed uniforms for the Imperial Hotel, “SK-II,” and Camp Nepos (Tokyo Disney Resort).
Additionally, in 2010, she became the first fashion designer to create a spacesuit for Japanese astronaut Naoko
Yamazaki.
In October 2012, the collection line “TAE ASHIDA” debuted.
In 2018, she was appointed Creative Director of “Jun Ashida.”
In the 2019 fall/winter season, she debuted her first men’s wear line, “TAE ASHIDA MEN’S.”
In 2025, TAE ASHIDA received the Minister of Culture’s Special Commendation for the 6th year of the Reiwa era.
