men’s footwear—to achieve a deep, unique luster.
Another defining feature is its script decoration, inspired by 18th-century French cursive writing, which adorns both
shoes and bags.

History of BERLUTI
Berluti began in 1895 when Alessandro Berluti, an Italian cabinetmaker, opened a workshop specializing in men’s shoes.
In the 1960s, Olga Berluti, the fourth generation of the founding family, took over as Artistic Director and
transformed the brand.
By the 1990s, it joined the LVMH group.
Starting in 2005, the brand applied its leather craftsmanship to launch a bag line. In 2011, Alessandro Sartori
assumed the role of Artistic Director for the Maison.
Subsequently, designers such as Haider Ackermann and Kris Van Assche took the helm, and currently, a creative team
oversees the designs.
