Paraboot, the national shoe of France.

In France, it is said that the first person to wear “Paraboot” is a full-fledged person, and in Japan, it is a shoe that gives off a beautiful shine at famous select stores.
In France, it is said that one is a man only if he wears “Paraboot” shoes.
In this section, we will introduce the features of Paraboot.

What is Paraboot?

It is a shoe brand characterized by its robust construction with its roots in mountain climbing shoes.
One of the reasons for their popularity is that they do not tire easily even after wearing them for a long time.
The design is not as sharp as that of high-class Italian men’s shoes, but rather has a rounded form with a unique, pot-bellied affection.

History of Paraboot

Paraboot is a brand founded in France by Remy Richard Ponvert in 1908.
He came up with the idea of using natural latex, which was imported directly from the port of PARA in Brazil, as the sole material for his shoes.
The brand name “PARABOOT” was taken from the name of the export port.
Paraboot shoes, with their original rubber soles that are rugged, abrasion-resistant, and comfortable, were first popular among laborers, firefighters, mail carriers, and military personnel.
Later, they became accepted as work shoes.
They also acquired the status of outdoor shoes as adventurers such as the Arctic explorer Paul-Emile Viktor used them.
The Norvegian welt method, which can be worn in any climate, became Paraboot’s forte and became the technology that symbolized the brand.
