History of Dickies

Dickies began in 1918 when C.N. Williamson and E.E. Dickey founded the U.S. Overalls Company, the predecessor of Dickies, in Fowart, Texas, USA.
Initially, the company sold saddles and carriages.
Williamson and Dickey establish Dickies from the desire to create a workwear brand for workers.
The products, which reflected their commitment to thoroughly meet the needs of the workers, became widely popular throughout the United States.
In addition, workers in the Middle East used Dickies workwear, and Dickies workwear spread throughout the world.
While Dickies had established itself as a work brand, the 1990s saw a boom in street culture in the United States.
Skaters on the West Coast loved the durable and inexpensive Dickies “874”.
Among them, skaters Salman Agar, Ethan Fowler, and even former guitarist John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers are said to have used them.
The brand has since spread to the cultural scene around the world, and has established itself not only as a workwear brand but also as a fashion brand.
