History of TOMFORD

TOMFORD began his career as a designer in the late 1980s at Kathy Hardwick’s design studio.
In 1990, he moved from New York to Milan to design for Gucci’s women’s department. In 1990, he moved from New York to Milan to design Gucci’s women’s department, and in 1994, his talent was recognized and he was appointed as Gucci’s Creative Director.
At the time, Gucci was in the midst of a family upheaval and was struggling with poor business results, but TOMFORD turned things around and became a star designer.
In 2005, he launched his eponymous brand, TOMFORD, with Domenico Dessore.
From the 2011 Spring/Summer collection, he launched womenswear.
TOMFORD Beauty, a glamorous cosmetic line that reflects his high sense of beauty, is also available. The cool, sexy, and stylish mood of the brand attracts people all over the world.
Cosmetics and eyewear are manufactured by Estee Lauder and Marcolin, respectively, and TOMFORD’s concept is “to be strong, tough and sexy.
In addition to cosmetics and eyewear, TOMFORD also offers a variety of men’s and women’s wear and accessories.
