History of MURBERRY
Mulberry’s history dates back to 1971 when it was founded by Roger Saul in Somerset, England.
In 2004, Stuart Vivas took over as design director. The brand has grown significantly thanks to Stuart Vivas’ success.
In 2006, Stuart Vivas was awarded the BFC’s Fashion Accessory Designer of the Year award.
In 2007, Stuart Vivas moved to Loewe, a subsidiary of LVMH, and Emma Hill was appointed as Creative Director, succeeding Vivas.
With Emma Hill’s success, hit items such as “Bayswater” and “Alexa” were introduced. The brand has grown further.
In 2015, Johnny Coca was appointed as Creative Director, but in March 2020, he announced his resignation as Creative Director, and the Spring/Summer 2021 collection will be his last.
