THE RERACS is a Japanese fashion brand.
It offers both men’s and women’s wear.
It proposes designs that depend on the wearer and make the wearer beautiful.
The designs are based on basic wear and created as new wear by adding modern essence.
By scrapping and building one item per season, we rework it into contemporary wear.

History of THE RERACS
Naomi Kurahashi is the designer of The Lilacs.
She was born in 1981 in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. After graduating from university, she worked as a sales representative at a select store.
During that time, she studied patternmaking and textiles.
The brand was launched in 2010.
In 2014, we released a collaborative T-shirt in conjunction with David Bowie’s photo exhibition “TIME”.
In 2017, we opened a new style store “THE RERACS FITTING HOUSE” in Jinguji, Tokyo, which is a try-on only store.
