History of jun ashida
The founding designer is Jun Ashida.
He established his predecessor brand in 1963.
In 1964, he launched his first collection under the name jun ashida.
In 1966, he was appointed as a full-time designer by Her Imperial Highness Princess Michiko of Japan (until 1976).

In 1977, he presented his collection at Paris Fashion Week.
After presenting in Paris several times, he presented his collection in Tokyo in a show format.
In 1989, he was awarded the Order of Cavaliere of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy.
In 1991, he was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon.
