History of Marie-Hélène de Taillac
The founder is French jewelry designer Marie-Hélène de Taillac.
In 1995, inspired by the craftsmanship of goldsmiths and the beauty of colored stones she encountered in Jaipur,
India, Marie-Hélène de Taillac launched her own brand.
In 1996, she started her jewelry brand “Marie-Hélène de Taillac” and presented her debut collection.
In 1997, she introduced cabochon rings featuring colored stones. The bold combinations of stones garnered significant
attention, leading to purchases by retailers such as Barneys New York.
Hailed as revolutionary in the jewelry world, her pieces were later acquired by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in
Paris.
In 2016, she opened her first store in Western Japan at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store in Osaka.
