History of A.P.C
The designer of A.P.C is Jean Touitou, who was born in Tunisia in 1951.
He studied linguistics and history at the Sorbonne in Paris, and upon his return to Japan in 1977, he joined KENZO in Paris. In 1983, he established IRIE with Sueo Irie, who had worked with him at Kenzo.
In 1986, he launched the men’s brand A.P.C. in Paris.
Jean Touitou did not want to be judged by the name of the designer who made the design of the clothes, and did not have a brand name at first.

Later, in 1988, a women’s line was born at Arpaysay.
