History of N.hoolywood

It all started in 2000 when Daisuke Obana established a company called Mister Hollywood (MISTER HOLLYWOOD) in Harajuku, Tokyo.
Daisuke Obana, who opened a second-hand clothing store, visited Hollywood in the U.S. to buy second-hand clothes, and that is when the company started to be called Mr. Hollywood, which is the origin of the company’s name.
After that, the brand debuted under the name N.HOLLYWOOD (N.HOOLYWOOD) at the 2002 Spring/Summer Tokyo Collection, and became known as a Japanese fashion brand.
The clothes-making is based on old clothes, and the brand is particular about silhouettes and comfort.
In 2007, the dress line was presented at the Paris Collection exhibition, and that was an important step in its overseas expansion.
In February 2008, a famous stylist named Tsuyoshi Noguchi invited the brand to the men’s building of Hankyu Department Store in Umeda, Osaka.
In February 2008, at the urging of a famous stylist named Tsuyoshi Noguchi, N-Hollywood, Undercover, Hysteric Glamour, and Number Nine gathered to open a select store called Quadrophenia in the men’s building of Hankyu Department Store in Umeda, Osaka.
