History of Nobuyuki Matsui
The founder and designer of Nobuyuki Matsui is Nobuyuki Matsui.
He studied psychology in England and enrolled in the London College of Fashion.
Influenced by the local artwork and environment, he started making clothes.
He studied menswear and won a prize at Fashion scout, a fashion contest for young designers at London Fashion Week while still in school.
He returned to Japan in 2015 and started his own brand “Nobuyuki Matsui”, starting production in the fall/winter of 2016.
He handles everything from patterns to sewing and design, and presents his creations as made-to-order clothing and sometimes as artwork.
He started his prêt-a-porter collection in the spring/summer of 2018.
