C.E. is created by Sk8ightthing, Toby Feltwell, Yutaka Hishiyama and other members who have greatly influenced the Japanese fashion scene.
The high quality of their graphics and printing techniques has captivated many fans.

What is C.E.?


C.E. is a Japanese street fashion brand.
Skate Thing is in charge of graphic design, Toby Feltwell is in charge of branding and concept creation, and Yutaka Hishiyama is in charge of production and other aspects of the brand.
The brand name is derived from the tattoo “Caveat Emptor” (Latin for the buyer assumes the risk of quality) of a woman in Philip K. Dick’s book “Ubik”.
The name was shortened from “CAVEMPT” to “C.E.”
C.E. is a graphic representation of Philip K. Dick’s works, postmodernism, suspense, horror, and science fiction movies.
This is realized through advanced printing technology.

History of C.E.


The graphic design is by Shinichiro Nakamura (Sk8thing).
He was born in Tokyo, Japan.
He is a graphic designer, illustrator, and DJ.
He has been involved in the design of “GOODENOUGH,” “A BATHING APE,” and “UNDERCOVER,” and has led the Japanese street wear industry.
Branding is led by Toby Feltwell.
Born in England, Toby started skateboarding at the age of 13.
He started skateboarding at the age of 13, and from there became interested in music and clothing.
After graduating from the University of London, he worked in music and law firms before joining “C.E.”.
In 2013, he presented his collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo.
In 2018, we announced a collaboration with “NIKE.
Skate Thing and Toby Feltwell’s unique approach to sportswear slasic, Air Max 95 and track jackets.
