What is kudos?
kudos is a fashion brand that started in the fall/winter of 2017-18. The brand has become popular for its casual and
playful designs.
The brand name “kudos” is an English word meaning fame, honor, prestige, and admiration.
Clothing that eliminates boundaries, draws out potential, and applauds the wearer’s own self. Tailor the person and
guide them toward the admiration that awaits them. This is what we want to express in our creations.
kudos has many items with interesting cutting, docking, and silhouettes.
Many of the items are transformative in comfort for everyday wear, and while they are based on furmal, they all have
interesting shapes with a twist.

History of kudos
Tsukasa Kudou is the designer.
He was born in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture.
After graduating from Waseda University, he entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
After dropping out of school, he attended a pattern school in Paris to learn the basics of dressmaking while working
as a design assistant at “JACQUEMUS” and “J.W. ANDERSON. ANDERSON” and as a pattern assistant at “Y/PROJECT”.
After returning to Japan in 2017, he launched his own brand “kudos”.
