History of Emilio Pucci

Emilio Pucci, the founder of the company, showed his talent from an early age, and it is said that when he was in high school, his ski wear designs were published in a magazine and became popular.
Thereafter, the magazine commissioned him to create winter wear for women, which was sold in New York.
In the 1950s, Emilio Pucci created the “Pucci pattern,” which can be said to be synonymous with Emilio Pucci and looks like looking through a kaleidoscope with vivid geometric patterns.
Later, in the 1960s, his elegant prints were accepted by Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor, and he became known as the “Prince of Prints”.
The company has been involved in a variety of design projects, including clothing, carpets, and the logo for the Apollo 15 mission.
After the death of Emilio Pucci, the founder of the brand, in 1992, his daughter Laudomia Pucci took over the brand, and in 2000, the brand became part of the LVMH Group.
