ATHA proposes “Clothes worn as daily necessities


ATHA is popular for its neutral silhouette that completely covers the lines of the body.
In particular, the brand’s iconic coats have an established reputation and are supported by both men and women alike.
Here, we introduce some of ATHA’s characteristics.

What is ATHA?


ATHA is a Japanese fashion brand launched in Fall/Winter 2018. It is based in Osaka.
With the brand concept of “wearing clothes you like without being bound by age/gender differences,” the brand proposes clothes that transcend size and gender.
The designs are somewhat rigid and have a sense of presence, yet are suitable for daily use and are not easily influenced by trends, and feature playful designs centered on basic types.
The brand is also characterized by its unisex, one-size-fits-all approach, with many items showing a different face depending on the wearer: feminine when worn by men, masculine when worn by women, and so on.

History of ATHA


Hideki Saito, born in 1985, is the designer. He studied architecture and product design at school.
In 1998, he started working at “MORIKAGE SHIRTS KYOTO” designing and manufacturing custom-made and ready-to-wear clothing.
In 2006, I started working for “GADGET INC.
From 2013, I worked as a designer for “N4 (N4)”, a domestic brand.
I started my own brand “ATHA” in the fall/winter of 2018.
