History of AKIRANAKA


The designer and founder of the company is Akira Naka.
He entered the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, but dropped out to participate in the Hyères International Festival.
He returned to Japan in 2006 and started his own brand “POESIE” in 2007.
In the spring/summer of 2008, she participated in the exhibition “Newcomers I Met in Europe” at Tokyo Collection Fashion Week.
In 2008, he changed his brand name from “POESIE” to “AKIRA NAKA”.
The jewelry collection was launched in 2018.
The brand description was changed to one word “AKIRANAKA” starting in Spring/Summer 2019.
Launched a shoe line in 2019.
The brand also launched a menswear brand “VKhUTES” in 2009.
