History of SEVEN BY SEVEN
Junya Kawakami is the director and designer of the brand.
Born in 1978, Kawakami spent his twenties buying vintage in San Francisco.
In 2013, he opened the concept store “7X7”. At the same time, he started his original brand, which went into full
swing in the fall/winter 2015 season.
The concept store was temporarily closed in 2018 to focus on production.
