History of AKANE UTSUNOMIYA
Akane Hasui, the designer, was born in Tokyo in 1982.
After graduating from high school, she went to London to study at Chelsea College Foundation Course.
She then enrolled in the BA Textiles and MA Fashion Knitwear departments at Central Saint Martin.
She then started her own brand “AKANE UTSUNOMIYA”.
She was selected as one of the talented young designers in the second SHINMAI Creator’s Project.
She presented her collection in the 2010 Fall-Winter season.
